Jobs available at Pathway Homes

The Pathway Homes employee family includes more than 100 members. Most staff members are a part of the clinical team, providing direct client services or supervision. Other employees include accountants, housekeepers, food services workers, maintenance technicians, and office or professional support. Pathways also benefits from the involvement of volunteers. The following positions were available as of May 26, 2011:

Mental Health Counselor II

Full time clinical positions are immediately available. These positions provide intensive case management and support services to adults with mental illness. These positions include day and evening hours.

These positions require a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or a related field and one year of experience.

Salary starts in the mid 30's with excellent benefits.

Mental Health Counselor I

A part time (20 hours a week) position is immediately available providing mental health support services in a community setting for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. This is a day shift position. Bachelor's degree required in psychology, social work or related field. Consumers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary starts at $15.45 per hour with excellent benefits.

Cook

A weekend part time position is available for a cook at a 36-bed assisted living facility serving adults with mental health issues in Fairfax, Virginia. Candidates should have demonstrated cooking and food handling experience and an ability to work well with the residents of the facility. This position also has opportunities for additional "as needed" hours. Candidates with a Food Handlers Certificate will be given priority.

Salary starts at $12.43 per hour.

Relief Counselors

There are on-going openings for Relief Counselor (PRN) positions. These positions require a BA in psychology, social work, or a related field. Some experience working with the seriously mentally ill in a residential setting is required. These positions are responsible for providing shift coverage on an as needed basis in Pathways' 24-hour supervised housing facilities.
