FAIRFAX, Va. (October 14, 2024)—Pathway Homes, a regional nonprofit providing mental health services—starting with safe, stable housing—to individuals marginalized by poverty and inequity, has unveiled a new logo, tagline, and branding elements that better tell the story of Pathway Homes important work. The new branding will be woven into all aspects of the nonprofit’s visual communications over the next few months.

“We’ve been serving our community for nearly half-a-century, and over this time, we’ve grown and changed. It was time to refresh our branding to capture and amplify our work and impact,” explained Sylisa Lambert-Woodard, CEO, Pathway Homes. “Our new logo and tagline provide an introduction to our nonprofit visually and textually, giving a better sense of what we do and who we serve.”

The new branding focuses more attention on Pathway Homes’ work that helps individuals attain and strengthen the skills needed to manage their mental and physical health and remain stably housed.

The new logo incorporates symbolism on several levels. A simple home with a circle signifies the community. The yellow in the windows represents someone at “home,” not just a house. The swipes of green denote the path to good mental health, which intersects with a home. Also, the green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness.

The new colors have good contrast in keeping with accessibility compliance standards for visual impairment. The tagline—Health & Hope Through Housing—enhances the new logo by providing more context.
